Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Part Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site on Martha's Vineyard MA

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8 AM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol in South Yarmouth, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support the public with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring integrity, reliability, and teamwork to every shift while contributing to a people-first culture that values agility and innovation.

Pay Rate: $23.79 / Hour

Day Time

Mon08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Tue08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Thur08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transportation location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information through established site protocols.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and support the control of entry and exit for restricted areas in accordance with site rules and governmental requirements.

Communicate with supervisors, local law enforcement, and/or emergency personnel as needed, and assist with traffic, roadway, and facility-related post duties based on site conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
