Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT in the N42C4, COMPACFLT Ordnance Logistics Division of NAVMAG INDIAN ISLAND. Responsibilities You will coordinate updates and maintain a financial management database for the unit or detachment. You will submit accurate outgoing funding document request forms to the division. You will use a computer or a conventional @typewriter to transcribe narratives, memoranda, messages, letters, and other correspondence and reports. You will prepare travel requests and all associated actions and documentation, ensuring that travelers receive correct and timely orders. You will receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outbound mail, message traffic and correspondence. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector utilizing office automation tools (e.g. computer systems, software, databases such as SLDCADA, FASTDATA, JPAS) to provide clerical, administrative and technical work in support of budget analysis and administration office. This position requires the ability to @type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Education In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of at least one full year of graduate education directly related to the work of the position.
