2 Agricultural Equipment Operators are needed in Barry, Allegan and Kalamazoo County, Michigan, to work with potatoes and sweet corn. Workers must have 1 year of verifiable commercial agriculture equipment experience and a valid driver's license with an F endorsement or equivalent. Duties include preparing fields; safely operating and maintaining farm machinery such as tractors with attachments, forklifts, mowers, sprayers, harvesters, dump trucks, skid steers, and other equipment; assisting with hauling crops; unloading potatoes; grading potatoes; and seeding cover crops. Workers may operate semi-trucks if authorized. Tasks also include basic maintenance, rock picking, mowing, trash pickup, and cleaning equipment and buildings. The job requires accurate recordkeeping and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Training on specific duties will be provided. Drug testing is conducted at the employer's expense and not used as a pre-employment requirement.
