AWS WWPS GovTech sales team is hiring an Account Manager to lead transformative deals and redefine how GovTechs innovate with cloud and Agentic AI. Bring your passion for building businesses, your operational excellence, and deep industry insights to help our customers accelerate their digital transformations at scale.

As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow Mid-Market GovTech accounts in the US. You will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for a set list of accounts, drive revenue growth, and set the vision for how AWS partners with our customers to reshape the industry.

Key job responsibilities

Build and maintain trusted relationships with assigned GovTech accounts. Foster partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers' most complex business and technical challenges.

Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.

Identify transformational opportunities, de-risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.

Accelerate customer adoption & develop long-term relationships with key accounts

Basic Qualifications

3+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales or equivalent business development experience

Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders

Experience in cloud, infrastructure, data, analytics, and AI/ML with ability to translate technology into strategic business outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering results for large, cross-functional initiatives/projects

Experience working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, and/or Storage

Experience personally closing large complex deals end-to-end

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
