As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Raleigh, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.59 / Hour

Day Time

Fri08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sat08:30 AM - 06:30 PM

Sun08:30 AM - 06:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures and assigned security-related duties at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant activity according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and observe activity on the property, assisting with security-related concerns, visitor direction, and/or questions as appropriate.

Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts, documenting events, and following post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
