In this unarmed role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with visitor screening protocols, directional support, and access control practices based on location requirements.

Support preservation-focused operations by observing for prohibited behavior near exhibits and/or restricted areas, addressing concerns with professionalism, and escalating security-related matters when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
