You will analyze data requirements, design and implement databases, monitor performance, manage backup and recovery activities, and recommend improvements that strengthen reliability, scalability, and long term effectiveness. You will develop and maintain data standards, administer database policies and procedures, support data analysis and warehousing efforts, evaluate emerging database technologies, and improve overall information management capabilities. You will apply established information security practices throughout application and data management activities, protect the integrity of technology services, resolve technical concerns, and elevate unresolved issues through appropriate leadership. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Utilize analytical skills, evaluation techniques, and re-engineering methods to assess the technical, financial, and programmatic implications of prospective IT endeavors. 2. In addition: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience in applying Information Technology pronciples and practives. 2. Ability to work on a diverse team engaged in Defense Acquisition program management activiities. 3. Expert knoweldge of inteligence applications such as Microsft Reporting Services and/or Microsft Structure Qyery Language (SQL) (for Data Manager). 4.
