Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for State Site in Lawrence MA

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8 AM - 6 PM and Saturday 8 AM - 5 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Related Experience

As a Security Officer in Lawrence, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will respond with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and brings innovative support to daily operations.

Day Time

Wed08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Thur08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Fri08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

Sat08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site rules, post orders, and applicable regulations for a public sector environment.

Support public assistance needs by providing directions, communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities when needed, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
