Receptionist Medical II

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Team members are assigned a primary role on the
patient access team and may perform check-in, registration and
scheduling functions, as well as address inquires via telephone, email,
or fax. The care Model Process (CMP) guidelines are to be utilized and
followed for all workflows. Essential Duties: Answer incoming calls in
queue and support department internal lines Review and understand
individual and team measures that support service goals. Direct
emergency calls in an appropriate manner according to department
guidelines Greet and direct patients to appropriate patient care areas
Complete necessary paperwork to support the patient visit Complete the
closing process for collection of payments and co-pays Conduct patient
reminder calls or prepares written notification for scheduled
appointments Establishes and maintains department files and providers
schedules Promote and maintain good patient relations and
confidentiality Minimum Qualifications: 6 months related experience High
School diploma or equivalent Two years in customer service, working in a
hospital, or medical clinic setting or graduate of a formal training
program in medical reception or customer service. Preferred
Qualifications: Some medical background preferred. Two-year degree in
