Job Description
This role is a hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance technician position, responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and facility systems in a linen processing environment. You will work with both mechanical and electrical components, perform reactive and preventive maintenance, and support facilities operations to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
Perform electro-mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment, including conveyors, sensors, compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using strong troubleshooting skills and a balanced 50/50 mechanical/electrical skill set.
Conduct reactive and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to guide repairs and installations.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled systems as needed to restore proper operation of automated equipment.
Inspect, maintain, and repair facility components such as compressors, steamers, bearings, chains, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors, and sprockets.
Perform facilities maintenance tasks, including HVAC and plumbing duties, when required to support overall plant operations.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as an electro-mechanical technician with both mechanical and electrical maintenance responsibilities (approximately 50/50 split).
Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial machinery and facility systems.
Hands-on experience with reactive and preventive maintenance in an industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints.
Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain conveyors, sensors, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related components.
Comfort working with and troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
Experience working with 3-phase motors in an industrial setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience performing facilities maintenance, including HVAC and plumbing tasks.
Familiarity with compressors, steamers, bearings, chains, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, sensors, and sprockets.
Comfort working with industrial automation systems and performing PLC troubleshooting.
Experience in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, and repair of industrial machinery.
Ability to perform maintenance repairs in a fast-paced, industrial environment.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with a wide range of maintenance tools and equipment.

Work Environment
This is a temp to full-time position, working in an industrial linen processing facility. The environment involves working around hospital and healthcare linens, sheets, and related materials, which can be dirty, messy, and may involve handling equipment exposed to waste. You will spend most of your time on the plant floor, moving between machinery and facility systems, using a variety of hand and power tools as well as diagnostic equipment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including appropriate protective equipment and hygiene practices due to the nature of the materials processed. Work is hands-on, fast-paced, and physically active, with a focus on keeping industrial washers, dryers, folders, conveyors, and facility systems operating reliably throughout the shift.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
