What you'll do...
Complies with company policies procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy: and applying these in executing business processes and practices
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies data and resources collaborating with managers coworkers customers and other business partners identifying priorities deadlines and expectations carrying out tasks communicating progress and information determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities and adapting to and learning from change difficulties and feedback
Provides member service by acknowledging the member identifying their needs assisting with purchasing decisions locating merchandise resolving issues and concerns and promoting the companys products and services
Maintains trailers by inspecting to ensure that mechanical safety and emergency equipment is in good working order maintaining proper fuel levels in equipment as required for example yard tractormule refrigerated unit and performing trailer inventory checks
Operates equipment for example tractortrailer unit ocean vessel container trailer yard mule forklift safely by adhering to all safety requirements placing trailers in designated locations and safely picking up moving placing and positioning merchandise pallets
Maintains safety of facility by following all safety standards procedures and guidelines for example safety sweeps forklift spotting handling and disposing of hazardous materials steel standards and correctingreporting unsafe situations to Management
Ensures members follow facility safety and compliance guidelines by acknowledging external drivers facilitating and communicating yard safety procedures locating units for pick up identifying location for unit drop off locating merchandise and identifying and reporting unsafe conditions
Fulfills member wholesale trade orders by reviewing orders pulling items from shelves verifying appropriate quantities and expiration dates scanning wrapping and palletizing items appropriately ensuring the accuracy of orders and invoices securing items until orders ship ensuring necessary documentation is signed and appropriate documentation is released to the shipping company and following up on outofstock merchandise to meet Member needs
Organizes wholesale trade merchandise on to pallets containers andor trucks by ensuring loads are stacked mixed and balanced appropriately in accordance with company policies and maintaining documentation of the loading process
Yard Driver Operations Drives tractortrailer in a safe and correct manner by adhering to all regulations for example company local state federal Transports trailers to appropriate destinations in an accurate and timely manner Tells management about unsafe working conditions damaged products or improper procedures Operations tractortrailer in a safe and correct manner Maintains a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance

The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
