Responsibilities
At Post Consumer Brands, we're on a journey to become a more agile, modern, and strategically enabled organization, and technology is at the center of that transformation.
As our Chief Information Officer (CIO) , you will operate at the intersection of operator and transformer, ensuring our business runs seamlessly today while building the digital capabilities that fuel tomorrow's growth.
This is a highly visible leadership role reporting to the CFO, with direct partnership across executive leadership and collaboration with Post Holdings, Inc. You'll shape a future-ready technology strategy, lead a high-impact team, and help create a flexible IT environment that enables our acquisition-driven growth strategy.
If you're energized by building something better, influencing at the highest levels, and creating real business impact, this is your opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership & Strategy Alignment
Partner with executive leadership and functional leaders to translate business strategy into a clear, prioritized technology roadmap that drives revenue growth, margin improvement, and operational efficiency.
Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, proactively identifying where technology can improve performance, reduce risk, or create competitive advantage.
Collaborate with Post Holdings Inc. (PHI) technology leadership to leverage enterprise scale, align on shared services, and ensure PCB's technology strategy complements the broader portfolio.
M&A Integration & Growth Enablement
Lead IT planning and execution for acquisitions, ensuring rapid onboarding to standardized processes, systems, and data models with minimal business disruption.
Develop and continuously refine a repeatable integration playbook that accelerates synergy capture, reduces integration risk, and scales with PCB's acquisition pace.
Partner with business leadership to ensure acquired businesses are operationally integrated and delivering expected value within defined timelines.
Operational Excellence & Reliability
Ensure availability, performance, and resilience of all business-critical applications and infrastructure supporting manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations.
Drive simplification, standardization, and reuse across the technology portfolio to reduce complexity, lower support costs, and improve reliability.
Oversee IT and OT security, ensuring enterprise risk is managed effectively across all environments without impeding business operations.
Increase scalability and reliability across systems to enable business agility as PCB grows organically and through acquisition.
Digital Transformation, Data & AI
Lead development of enterprise data and analytics capabilities, enabling visibility, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making across functions.
Drive AI strategy in partnership with business leaders, focusing on practical, ROI-grounded use cases that enhance productivity, decision quality, and operational efficiency.
Selectively modernize systems and architecture to reduce technical debt and improve scalability, tied to clear business outcomes, not technology for technology's sake.
Ensure all transformation initiatives have clear ownership, adoption plans, and measurable KPIs to track value delivery.
Financial Discipline & Investment Management
Own the IT budget end-to-end, including run costs, project investments, and resource allocation, delivering year-over-year productivity and cost discipline.
Ensure every technology investment is grounded in a clear business case, measurable ROI, and alignment to enterprise value / EBITDA impact.
Continuously evaluate the application and infrastructure portfolio to eliminate redundancy, rationalize spend, and reduce total cost of ownership.
Partner with functional leaders to ensure expected outcomes realization from IT-enabled investments.
Organization, Talent & Culture
Build and lead a high-performing, business-oriented IT organization with clear accountability, ownership of outcomes, and a continuous improvement mindset.
Develop IT leadership talent that operates with business understanding, not just technical expertise, capable of partnering effectively across functions.
Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and disciplined execution, where teams are empowered to make aligned decisions at the right level.
Manage financial and resourcing constraints and support the team with resolution of roadblocks and interdepedencies.
Governance & Decision Making
Establish governance that provides clarity on priorities, decision rights, and trade-offs, enabling speed without sacrificing control.
Ensure compliance with all applicable security, privacy, and regulatory requirements across the enterprise.
Make tradeoffs visible early, value vs. risk vs. complexity and drive structured decision-making that avoids local optimization at the expense of the enterprise.
Transformation Execution
Change Leadership -Apply a human-centric approach to change management. Help the enterprise understand, embrace, and navigate changes, and inspire the workforce through the journey.
Decision Making- Evaluate the pros and cons of choices to achieve desired outcomes efficiently. Be decisive and determined when a decision needs to be made, without unnecessary delay.
Delegation- Restructure bandwidth to drive strategic endeavors, intelligently shifting the right work to others to focus on what matters most. Encourage others to take appropriate accountability.
Prioritization & Focus- Focus on desired results and business outcomes. Manage time with a cost-benefit mindset; not only doing things right, but doing the right things.
