Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker plays a key role in accurately selecting, preparing, and staging customer orders in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position involves operating electronic pallet jacks and other material handling equipment for most of the shift, lifting and maneuvering bags up to 50 pounds, and ensuring orders are loaded safely and efficiently for shipment while maintaining high productivity and safety standards.

$21.40/hr.
Responsibilities
Lift and maneuver 50-pound bags of malt, flour, sugar, and other products safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
Operate electronic pallet jacks and other material handling equipment for up to 95% of the workday to move and stage merchandise.
Read pick tickets and pick labels to accurately assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets in the correct sequence.
Prepare customer orders to ensure complete and accurate fulfillment according to company standards and customer requirements.
Load trailers with merchandise scheduled to be shipped, following proper loading patterns to maximize safety and space utilization.
Move merchandise using hand jacks and other material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers, as needed.
Follow all applicable safety guidelines, including government regulations, company safety manuals, stated safety policies, and general safe work practices.
Maintain performance at or above established productivity standards and service level targets set by the company.
Use RF scanners and other inventory tools to pick, track, and verify products and maintain accurate inventory records.
Help maintain proper warehouse cleanliness at all times, including keeping aisles clear, work areas organized, and pallets stacked safely.
Work effectively within a temperature-controlled distribution environment and adapt to varying temperatures as required.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support efficient warehouse operations and resolve order or inventory issues promptly.
Essential Skills
Proven experience operating electronic pallet jacks in a distribution or warehouse environment.
Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver bags and products weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Experience operating material handling equipment such as hand jacks, forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
Proficiency using RF scanners for picking, inventory tracking, and order verification.
Strong order picking skills with attention to detail when reading pick tickets and pick labels.
Ability to work safely and consistently within temperature-controlled environments.
Capability to meet or exceed productivity standards and service level targets in a fast-paced setting.
Understanding and adherence to safety guidelines, regulations, and company safety policies.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in a distribution facility with concrete flooring and high-rise racking.
Comfort working around various @types of material handling equipment and high stacked pallets.
Basic inventory awareness and ability to help maintain accurate stock levels through proper picking and handling.
Reliability and strong work ethic to support consistent warehouse operations.
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas as part of daily routines.

This role is based in a distribution facility featuring concrete flooring and high-rise racking systems. Team members work in a temperature-controlled environment and spend most of their time operating electronic pallet jacks and other material handling equipment around racked inventory and loading areas. The pay range for this position is $21.40 - $21.40/hr.
