Description We are looking for a dependable Administrative Assistant to join a construction and contractor team on a contract basis. This position supports daily office operations by managing incoming calls, assisting customers effectively, and providing administrative help across the service function. The role is well suited for someone who stays organized in a fast-paced environment, works well with others, and is eager to learn new processes while contributing wherever needed.

Responsibilities:

Manage a high volume of incoming landline calls, especially during peak seasonal periods, and direct inquiries efficiently.

Provide front desk coverage when the regular receptionist is unavailable due to absence or scheduled time off.

Deliver courteous and detail-oriented service to customers while responding to questions and routing requests appropriately.

Assist the service department with day-to-day administrative work, including general office support and data entry tasks.

Work closely with service team members to learn workflows, procedures, and department expectations.

Train alongside service coordinators to help maintain coverage when other team members are out of the office.

Complete additional clerical and administrative assignments between calls to help keep office operations running smoothly. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, or office support role.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a busy office setting.

Experience handling inbound calls with a detail-oriented and customer-focused approach.

Comfortable collaborating with a team and providing support to more than one department.

Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and internal procedures.

Strong administrative skills, including data entry and general office coordination.

Previous experience in a commercial or service-related environment is preferred. TalentMatch®
