NAM Market Development Planner
The Market Development Planner is responsible to process and execute inventory to meet pre-commercial needs of NAM subregions and Market Development. This role is responsible for coordinating efforts with the Supply Planning, Customer Service, and other functions as needed. This individual will ultimately oversee inventory levels along with quality features for the corresponding crops and segments supported to secure a heightened level of service to our customers.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES-
The primary responsibilities of this role, NAM Market Development Planner, are to:
Responsible for supply processes for pre-commercial and Market;
Bachelor's in business, supply chain or related field;
Responsible for executing of Ship as Basic & the PUSH to Marketable plan; as well as pull process and taking seed from marketable to MTO/MTS to the DC, manufacturing or customer;
Responsible for execution of the supply plan for the Unit focusing on Consensus Forecast and giving support to other squads when needed;
Identify and resolve any supply constraints and/or exceptions via the supply planning escalation methodology;
Develops, manages and executes the replenishment plan for your assigned squad to support enable achieving sales targets;
Creates and communicates the Near-Term replenishment (treat & pack) plan to cross functional stakeholders on a weekly basis;
Measure progress against the plan, and manage exceptions against established forward coverage targets;
Responsible for communicating within the S&OP process (and to the business) of supply plans, potential issues with managing scenarios to support a reliable supply to end customers;
Close collaboration/liaison with S&OE coordination and participate actively in the weekly S&OE meetings by sharing supply information and ensuring that actions are in place to secure business priorities and financial targets from a supply perspective;
Responsible for strong collaboration with Trade and Compliance, Regulatory, Supply Fiend Sales Reps, Unit Leads and Plant Operations teams to execute the inventory positioning plan effectively;
Identify and resolve any supply constraints and or exceptions as they arise;
Responsible for monitoring seed coming into PP1 (local push, ship-as-basic outbound) and PP2, prioritizing & sending RCCP to site and finishing out push process to make seed marketable, managing inventory including upgrading plans;
Collaborate with the Future Year Planner and Regional Plant Planner on Rough-Cut Capacity Plan to ensure the execution of PUSH plan. Works with MEX to plan and execute PUSH to Marketable process;
Collaborate with the Future Year Planner to manage obsolescence and analyze pain points. Lead the execution of Deterioration and Obsolescence (D&O) actions within the plants (write offs, medium and bad quality management);
Collaborate on localized allocation inputs necessary to drive Revenue at Risk decisions. Ensure local prioritization or upgrading decisions are completed;
Provide continuous improvement feedback on related business processes and participate in Continuous Improvement projects;
Make appropriate adjustments to plans based on business needs utilizing the decision logic within PS planning horizons;
Responsible for the phyto check;
Ships as Basic stage: Interval validation process ensuring seed inspections criteria met to move to next processing country & destination country;
Push to Marketable: Analysis of batch phytosanitary attributes vs intended demand country requirements. Generate lab test request signal;
Required qualifications:
Strong communication skills including ability to influence peers and leaders;
Bachelor's in business, supply chain or related field;
Work effectively with teams and networks across geographic, functional and other cultural and organizational boundaries;
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's in business, supply chain or related field with 2+ years of related experience in business functions or any Supply Chain Management role;
Excellent decision and problem-solving skills;
Background in data, analytics and knowledge in applied statistics;
Ability to work effectively in a global, team-based;
No relocation will be offered
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $63,040.00 - $94,560.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc. This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
