Job Description
This role focuses on line and phase maintenance of King Air aircraft operating from a home hangar and MRO facility in Belgrade, Montana. You will use WinAir maintenance tracking software, follow repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings, and perform maintenance and repairs on engines, propellers, and other aircraft systems and components to keep the fleet safe, reliable, and flying.
Responsibilities
Perform line maintenance on King Air aircraft to ensure the fleet remains airworthy and available for operations.
Carry out phase maintenance, including Phases 1-4, typically due every 200 flight hours, in accordance with approved procedures and documentation.
Use WinAir maintenance tracking software to review scheduled tasks, document work performed, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Consult repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings to determine appropriate repair methods and ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Select proper tools, equipment, and materials needed to perform repairs and maintenance on engines, propellers, and other aircraft systems and components.
Troubleshoot aircraft squawks and discrepancies, identify root causes, and perform corrective actions to resolve issues efficiently.
Conduct heavy maintenance tasks as required in hangars and shop areas, including C checks and other detailed inspections.
Perform maintenance and repairs on turboprop aircraft, including King Air models and potentially similar platforms such as Dash-8 and ATR-72, as applicable to the operation.
Complete maintenance checklists thoroughly and accurately, ensuring all work is documented and signed off in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Adhere to safety-sensitive work practices, following all safety protocols and procedures while working on the line, in hangars, and in shop areas.
Use personal tool sets, including basic hand tools, in a professional and organized manner, maintaining shadowed tool control to support safety and accountability.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to coordinate work, share technical information, and support efficient aircraft turnaround times.
Work in both indoor hangar environments and outdoor line areas, adapting to varying conditions while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Essential Skills
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
Minimum of 2+ years of recent aircraft maintenance experience on King Air aircraft.
Demonstrated experience in line maintenance and phase maintenance on turboprop aircraft.
Proficiency in troubleshooting aircraft systems and resolving mechanical and electrical squawks.
Experience performing heavy maintenance, including detailed inspections such as C checks.
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
Familiarity with MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) operations and procedures.
Valid driver's license.
Eligibility for safety-sensitive hire, meeting applicable safety and compliance standards.
Ownership of basic hand tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets and extensions, flashlight, and pliers, maintained in a shadowed tool setup.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using WinAir or similar maintenance tracking software to manage tasks and records.
Hands-on maintenance experience with turboprop platforms such as Dash-8 and ATR-72.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to following maintenance checklists and documentation requirements.
Ability to work extended hours and multiple consecutive days while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with maintenance teams and flight operations personnel.
Adaptability to work across line maintenance, heavy maintenance hangars, and shop environments.

Work Environment
The role operates in a high-activity maintenance environment supporting King Air aircraft at a home hangar and MRO facility in Belgrade, Montana. You will work six days per week, Monday through Saturday, typically 10-12 hours per day. Day shifts run approximately from 0700 to 1730 with a 30-minute lunch break, and an alternative shift runs from about 1530 to 0200. Work is performed both outside on the line and inside heavy maintenance hangars and shop areas, with occasional outdoor tasks between hangars. You will regularly use WinAir maintenance tracking software, standard aircraft maintenance tooling, and shadowed personal tools, while adhering to safety-sensitive practices in all areas.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.
