Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on wiring electrical components for concrete batching equipment, primarily concrete dump trucks. You will use blueprints to install and connect lights, tailgates, and related systems, while also performing basic hydraulic and pneumatic work as needed.

Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to accurately wire electrical components for concrete batching equipment and concrete dump trucks.
Install and wire lights, tailgate controls, and other electrical systems on heavy equipment.
Perform basic hydraulic and pneumatic connections and adjustments to support equipment functionality.
Use hand tools, tape measures, and mechanical tools to assemble, fit, and secure components according to specifications.
Measure, cut, and fit parts with precision, applying basic carpentry and mechanical assembly techniques where required.
Inspect completed wiring and assemblies to ensure proper operation, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical and mechanical issues during assembly.
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures throughout the shift.
Collaborate with team members and follow production schedules to meet daily and weekly output goals.
Work required overtime on Fridays and participate in optional Saturday overtime to support production demands.
Essential Skills
At least 6 months of mechanical assembly experience OR at least 6 months of maintenance technician experience.
Ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
Hands-on experience with basic electrical work, including wiring and component installation.
Mechanical aptitude with experience using common hand tools and mechanical tools.
Proficiency in using a tape measure and performing accurate measurements.
Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems in an assembly environment.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
Reliability and willingness to work mandatory overtime on Fridays.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with heavy equipment or automotive components is beneficial.
Background in car mechanics or similar mechanical work is an advantage.
Familiarity with carpentry-related tasks, such as measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
Comfort working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills for basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

Work Environment
This is a first-shift position with a structured schedule: Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, typically organized as four 10-hour shifts and one 8-hour shift. There is mandatory 8 hours of overtime included in each Friday shift, plus optional overtime available on Saturdays from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Work takes place in a production and assembly facility focused on concrete batching equipment and dump trucks, using common hand tools, mechanical tools, and measuring equipment. The environment is hands-on and physically active, with an emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
