Job Description Summary
Reporting to the GSI NAM Region Service leader, The ACIS Portfolio Senior Manager is responsible for leading core operational processes supporting ACIS Services for Industrial or Utility Customers. This role provides operational leadership across Intent to Remittance (ITR)-related activities, ensuring readiness, alignment, execution, and effective coordination across project, service, commercial, and support teams. The position drives commercial and operational processes to support business objectives, customer requirements, and service delivery performance.
The position will lead a team of indirect reports and work closely with cross-functional partners including sourcing, quality, EHS, project management, operations, and other services stakeholders to drive execution excellence.
This role is based in Houston, TX and requires approximately 40% to 50% travel to support project sites, field operations, and business activities across North America.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Support ACIS Service Business Development, Tendering and Operations strategy and processes in collaboration with the NAM Services Leaders (Commercial and Operations). Strong focus on new service offering development and execution activities in line with Safety, Quality, Delay and Costs standards as well as maximizing Customers satisfaction.
Portfolio Management:
The ACIS Service Portfolio is responsible for managing ACIS Service portfolio for industrial or utility customers. Tasked with developing business and ensuring operations across all projects in the portfolio.
Responsible for the Activity P&L (Profit and Loss). Has project execution responsibility and Margin improvement vs Operating Plan.
Drive operational consistency, standardization, and governance across service support activities
Ensure processes and resources are aligned to meet business, project, and customer requirements
Support execution planning and operational issue resolution across the services organization
Support reporting, reviews, and escalation management for portfolio health and execution status
Ensure operational risks are identified early and mitigated through proactive action planning
ITR - Intent to Remittance Management
Provide leadership across Inquiry to Order (ITO) and Order to Remittance (OTR) activities relevant to specific customers in the ACIS Services portfolio
Align operations strategy based on Commercial strategy
Support the development of new services and business based on customers challenges and market trends.
Partner with commercial teams and operations team to support key customers.
Ensure operational milestones, handoffs, and process requirements are clearly defined and executed across the ITO and OTR lifecycle
Project management, ensure proper follow-up of project execution governance including kick-off meeting, project review and postmortem of the activity
Financial responsibility for the portfolio
Mandatory Requirement
Engineering, Project Management or Operations degree or equivalent in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. 15 years of experience in Customer Service functions.
Scope of GE Grid products. Experience in innovative Service environment. Coordination of different businesses and cultures. Previous works experiences in a matrix organization desirable
Knowledge of High Voltage equipment and solutions.
Negotiation skills (internally and externally with customers)
Process improvement as well as service specifics to determine and satisfy customer requirements. Ensure management quality with the goal of enhancing the company's image.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $131,700.00 and $219,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
