Job Description
This role leads multiple complex projects from initial kickoff through final customer acceptance within a dynamic manufacturing environment focused on switchgear, E-Houses, and related building solutions. The Project Manager oversees the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery, while owning scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure projects meet technical, contractual, and financial expectations. The role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to a rapidly growing organization that is expanding its product lines and presence in the data center supplier market.
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through final customer acceptance, ensuring successful delivery of all commitments.
Lead end-to-end project execution, including planning, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, and delivery activities.
Own and control project scope, schedule, cost, and overall performance, taking accountability for meeting project objectives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining strong communication, transparency, and overall satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, engineering, quality, and client-facing groups, to align internal execution with customer requirements.
Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings to establish expectations, timelines, and deliverables, and drive ongoing project updates and status reviews.
Communicate technical and contractual requirements clearly to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance.
Allocate resources effectively and prioritize project activities to meet deadlines and milestones.
Manage vendors and subcontractors, ensuring they understand and deliver on scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
Monitor project status, risks, and progress, and provide regular, structured reporting to stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed to maintain project health.
Ensure compliance with documentation standards, contractual terms, and company processes throughout the project.
Support invoicing activities by tracking project milestones, validating billable work, and coordinating with finance to ensure accurate and timely billing.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Experience managing projects involving switchgear, E-Houses, or buildings.
Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle, from concept through manufacturing and delivery.
Experience engineering, with experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, with a preference for Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality across multiple concurrent projects.
Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams and working closely with production, procurement, engineering, quality, and customer-facing stakeholders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
