To continue to grow we are seeking a regional sales representative to identify new business opportunities for recycling used abrasive media and sell client's abrasive products. Full time, in office position with regional travel required covering Midwest territory.

Primary Responsibilities

Research and qualify companies as being potential users of abrasive media that GMA can purchase to recycle, create opportunities to sell GMA products.

Update online CRM with all relevant information for recycling / sales leads and existing customers.

Contact potential customers or material sources through phone calls or emails and present GMA's products and services.

Track, follow up, and report on purchase offers for spent abrasive opportunities.

Research, identify and generate new sales opportunities as directed by the National Sales Manager.

Build and maintain successful relationships with existing customers (Distributors and End Users) through phone calls or emails to discuss product needs.

Gather and report useful information from customer and competitor data

Regional travel for onsite visits to existing and new customers required.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

Dedication to providing great customer service.

Flexibility of time management to be responsive to unscheduled, immediate needs.

1+ year minimum experience as sales representative or similar role. Manufacturing or Industrial sales preferred.

Bachelor's degree in Sales or Business Development.

Active experience with all sales communication techniques (cold calls, emails, social media, etc.).

Experience with CRM software, preferably ZoHo.

Expertise in using Microsoft Office with focus on MS Excel.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romulus, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.05/hr.
