Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sat02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations to help support authorized entry and help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized activity.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, noting unusual conditions and documenting security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
