modine.com. Position Description The Engineering Manager - Controls &
Embedded Systems is responsible for leading the design, development,
implementation, and support of control systems for commercial vehicles.
This role is primarily focused on leading engineering efforts, guiding
team performance, and serving as a key interface between Modine and OEM
customers for compliance-related activities. Key Responsibilities
Controls & Embedded Systems Engineering Leadership Lead the design,
development, and validation of control systems for commercial vehicle
products. Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians
supporting controls and electrical development. Oversee product
development from concept through production using APQP methodologies.
Drive execution of engineering deliverables, ensuring adherence to cost,
quality, and timing objectives. Provide technical oversight for
troubleshooting, testing, and system optimization (lab, plant, and
field). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product
engineering, manufacturing, and program management. Ensure robust
engineering specifications and documentation for control systems and
electromechanical components. Support proto@type builds, validation
activities, and product launches. Guide selection, validation, and
management of components (controllers, harnesses, fans, etc.). Develop
and maintain user interface software for Modine products. Develop and
maintain tools used by Modine engineers and technicians. This includes
field services tools used by Application Engineering and Sales along
with tools used by plant and Warranty technicians. Works with all areas
