Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Location: Santa Ynez, CA

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay Range: $34-$38/hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview

A well-established outpatient clinic in the Santa Ynez area is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join their team. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity supporting providers in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient care, procedures, and examinations

Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

Administer medications and injections in accordance with physician orders and clinic protocols

Perform basic clinical procedures such as wound care, EKGs, and specimen collection

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care

Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and prepared for patients

Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance standards

Qualifications

Active California LVN license in good standing

Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (outpatient or clinic setting strongly preferred)

Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach

Proficiency with EMR systems is preferred

BLS/CPR certification required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
