Medical Assistant Instructor (Full-Time)

Location: Lehi, UTStatus: Full-TimeHours: Monday-Friday; 1:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.Pay/Salary: $50,100-$53,000

What You'll Do:

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant Instructor include, but are not limited to:

Delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in both classroom and lab settings.- Supporting student growth through mentoring, regular feedback, and individualized success planning.- Ensuring your curriculum stays current and aligned with real industry expectations.- Partnering with fellow instructors, administrators, and industry leaders to maintain a high-quality learning experience.- Leading by example in professionalism, safety, and workplace readiness.- Actively participating in program development, accreditation efforts, employer advisory committees, and campus-wide events.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking professionals who are passionate about teaching and committed to excellence. Successful candidates will have:

Education: A high school diploma or the equivalent is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.- Experience: Experience in teaching in higher education is preferred.- Industry Credentials & Certifications: A Certified Medical Assistant with a minimum of two years of professional experience OR 10+ years of professional experience as a Medical Assistant. Must be BLS, CPR/First Aid certified through the American Heart Association.- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.). Experience with Canvas and curriculum development is a plus.- Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in communication, time management, and organization to efficiently manage classroom and practical training responsibilities.- Attention to Detail: A keen ability to assess student performance, ensure industry standards are met, and maintain accurate records.
