HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Senior Business Analyst - eCommerce serves as the strategic technology partner for Oregon Tool's business teams within the global Sales, Marketing and Commerce (B2B, B2C) areas and is accountable for maintaining and delivering enhancements to the B2B user experience and platform functionality, driving measurable business value and supporting our customer-centric vision.
THE DETAILS:
Business Partnership & Strategy
Serve as the primary IT partner for business teams within global Sales, Marketing and Commerce (B2B, B2C) areas
Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization, revenue growth, and enhanced customer experience
Translate business strategy into technology roadmaps, requirements, and solution recommendations
Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements gathering for business initiatives
Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and solution recommendations for new investments and enhancements
Promote best practices and process standardization across global operations
Advise stakeholders on how technology can enable and improve business processes and customer engagement
Ensure solutions meet business requirements while maintaining scalability, security, and operational efficiency
Maintain open communication through conversation and both formal and informal documents
Work effectively and collaboratively with a hybrid team
Project Delivery & Continuous Improvement
Lead business systems projects from concept through implementation
Coordinate with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
Facilitate testing, user acceptance activities, training, and change management efforts
Support issue resolution through root cause analysis and corrective action planning
Monitor system performance, user feedback, and business outcomes to drive continuous improvement
Manage third-party consulting and vendor relationships as required
Business Systems
Provide sustaining functional support for our B2B/B2C ecommerce applications and web properties
Collaborate with IT development operations and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues promptly while adhering to IT protocols and standards
Develop and maintain documentation for business process design, including high-level overviews, detailed functional specifications, and visual aids such as process flows. Regularly updates documentation as processes evolve, tailoring content to the appropriate audience
Conduct training sessions for business users on new process implementations. Shares best practices across the organization to ensure effective and efficient use of business applications
Partner with ERP, integration, and development teams to ensure seamless data flow between websites, commerce platforms, and SAP
Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that improve customer experience and operational effectiveness
Support application extensions, system configurations, testing, and deployment activities
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or a related field
3+ years of project management experience leading global, complex, cross functional initiatives. Developing and managing project scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risks, issues, and change requests
6+ years' experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on eCommerce systems operations and design
2+ of hands-on experience with B2B eCommerce platforms (e.g., Corevist, Shopify, SAP Commerce Cloud) in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries
Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements for customer experience (CX) and user experience (UX) related to ecommerce and web properties
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams
Experience with OpenText Media Manager (DAM) Administration, Data Syndication (Salsify preferred), and SAP Commerce Cloud a plus
Experience in an SAP ERP environment a plus
Manufacturing industry and multi-channel sales & marketing experience is a plus
Availability:
Available to work on site as required by job; eligible for domestic and international travel several times per year up to two weeks' duration
Available to work on-site and collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones
At Oregon Tool, we provide a reasonable, good-faith estimate of the compensation range for this role of $130,000 to $145,000 . Final offers are based on various factors such as experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity. This range may vary based on geographic location where the position is filled, and most new hires are not typically hired at the top of the range.
