Job Title: Electrician / Electrical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on wiring and assembling large palletizing machines, with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and quality. You will install and wire control panels, interpret electrical schematics and blueprints, use hand and power tools daily, and inspect parts to ensure all systems operate safely and reliably.
Responsibilities
Wire and assemble large palletizing machines according to electrical schematics and blueprints.
Install and wire control panels, including door devices and in-home or on-site systems.
Drill holes and run new wiring through residential or commercial properties as required.
Land and terminate wires accurately within control panels and other assemblies.
Use diagnostic and test equipment to verify safe, full functionality of installed electrical systems.
Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to guide installation and assembly work.
Inspect electrical parts and assemblies for defects, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
Perform routine electrical duties using specialized machines and tools such as overhead cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
Follow all safety protocols, safe wiring practices, and company guidelines when handling electrical components.
Maintain responsibility for throughput and product quality, ensuring work meets established production and quality standards.
Measure, cut, and fit components using tape measures and appropriate tools to achieve precise assembly.
Collaborate with team members while working independently on assigned sections of large machines.
Essential Skills
Proven experience with electrical wiring and electrical assembly in an industrial or similar environment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Hands-on experience installing and wiring control panels, including landing and terminating wires.
Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring tools such as tape measures.
Ability to safely handle electrical components and follow established safety protocols.
Experience with mechanical assembly related to electrical systems.
Capability to lift 50+ pounds as part of daily duties.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently while meeting production and quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ranken Electrical Degree or similar formal electrical education is strongly preferred.
Industry experience wiring control panels is preferred.
Experience with panel building, including layout, wiring, and testing.
Experience in production or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with overhead cranes or similar material-handling equipment.
Comfort working with large industrial machinery and complex assemblies.

Work Environment
Schedules: 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) & 2nd shift (2:30-11p). Work takes place in a climate-controlled, organized shop designed for assembling large palletizing machines. The facility offers spacious work areas to accommodate the size of the equipment and to allow safe, efficient assembly. You will use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment such as overhead cranes, while working relatively independently within a team-oriented production setting. The environment supports focused, detail-oriented work on complex electrical assemblies.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.12 - $30.12/hr.
