Why Work Here?
You will join a long-established, privately owned custom manufacturing shop that values collaboration, self-awareness, and continuous improvement. The team enjoys a small, family-like environment with an average tenure of around five years, and many long-serving employees. The company offers a supportive culture with regular appreciation events such as pizza parties, annual performance-based raises, and paid half days on most holidays once hired on permanently. Leadership encourages every employee to share ideas, give feedback, and help improve processes, creating a workplace where your voice matters and your contributions are recognized.
Work Environment
You will work on a first shift schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in a large, clean manufacturing facility where plastic sheet is formed and molded for various industries, including original equipment manufacturers and point-of-purchase display companies. The operation focuses on thermoformed plastic components and does not produce raw plastic, so there is not a strong plastic odor in the facility. The shop is small in headcount, with around 35 employees, and operates with a team-oriented culture where everyone is expected to wear multiple hats and help wherever needed; a "that isn't my job" attitude is not compatible with this environment. The company emphasizes self-awareness and seeks self-motivated individuals who see the bigger picture, communicate openly, and contribute ideas to improve production and quality. Work involves repetitive tasks at a workstation, either standing or sitting for most of the day, using hand tools, tape measures, and basic equipment to trim, inspect, and assemble parts in a safe and organized setting.
