Manufacturing Associate - $18-20/Hr - Otay Mesa - First Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate to join our team. You will be responsible for trimming excess rubber, checking parts for defects, painting grooves in parts with glue using small brushes, and performing molding tasks. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality of products.

Responsibilities

Trim excess rubber from parts.

Inspect parts for any defects.

Apply glue to grooves using small brushes.

Participate in molding processes.

Operate machinery efficiently and safely.

Essential Skills

Experience with small parts.

Proficiency in using hand tools.

General labor skills.

General production skills.

6 months of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to stand or sit for long periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Capability to operate machinery.

Work Environment

The facility operates across multiple shifts, with one opening on the 1st shift from 5:00am to 1:30pm. It is a spacious manufacturing environment with machine shops, molding, bonding presses, and warehouse areas. The company is committed to maintaining a safe and clean workplace.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
