Title: Engineer, Crawler Electrical - 121528

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As an Electrical Design Engineer for the John Deere Construction & Forestry division , located in Dubuque , IA , you will be responsible for harness and electrical component design for all current production crawler dozers and crawler loaders. Specifically, you will:

Work with suppliers, supporting the development of new or improved electrical components.

Lead projects to improve cost, reliability, and quality of harnesses and electrical components

Implement & document design changes in PDM system.

Perform warranty and root cause analysis.

Assist the assembly line in troubleshooting electrical issues as needed.

What Skills You Need

Ability to read electrical schematics, use a multimeter, and diagnose electrical problems.

Strong problem solving and communication skills.

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience with vehicle electrical systems.

Experience with 3D modeling tools (such as: Pro/E, Solidworks, AutoCAD)

Experience with 3D Modeling tools for harness routing like ProE-ProCable or MentorGraphics, Capitol Harness.

Experience working with electrical suppliers.

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
