Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory control of equipment and materials. This role maintains precise documentation, enforces Standard Operating Procedures, supervises and trains warehouse personnel, and coordinates with internal and external partners to support efficient and accountable material handling.
Responsibilities
Receive equipment and materials, verify accuracy, and update inventory records to ensure all items are properly documented and protected from damage.
Document the condition of incoming equipment and ensure appropriate handling and storage to prevent loss or deterioration.
Maintain proper segregation of materials in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures governing warehouse operations.
Maintain accurate documentation for all equipment stored in the warehouse and in transit to ensure full accountability at all times.
Prepare and deliver reports in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, providing clear and timely information on inventory status and warehouse activities.
Provide recommendations to leadership to improve warehouse operations and assist in the development and refinement of policies and procedures.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to receive, store, ship, and track materials, ensuring smooth and timely logistics.
Supervise warehouse personnel, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring adherence to operational and safety standards.
Train warehouse staff on inventory control, shipping and receiving processes, documentation requirements, and Standard Operating Procedures.
Conduct or oversee inventories on a regular basis to verify stock levels, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
Support customer service needs by ensuring orders and shipments are processed accurately and on time.
Travel up to approximately 25% of the time, including being prepared to be away for up to one week per month, to support warehouse operations or related activities at other locations.
Essential Skills
Demonstrated experience in inventory control and warehouse inventory management.
Proven experience in shipping and receiving operations, including documentation and coordination of inbound and outbound materials.
At least 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a closely related supervisory role.
Strong warehouse operation skills, including organizing storage, maintaining segregation of materials, and ensuring proper handling of equipment.
Supervisory skills with the ability to lead, train, and develop warehouse personnel.
Experience conducting inventories and reconciling stock records.
Customer service skills to support internal and external stakeholders and respond to operational needs.
Ability to follow and enforce Standard Operating Procedures and maintain accurate records and reports.
Willingness and ability to travel up to approximately 25% of the time, including being away for up to one week per month.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience providing operational recommendations and contributing to the development of warehouse policies and procedures.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and recordkeeping.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal and external parties and to train team members.
Ability to adapt to changing operational needs and support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in a warehouse environment on a first-shift schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The position involves regular interaction with warehouse equipment, inventory systems, and shipping and receiving operations. The work includes both office-based documentation and reporting tasks as well as hands-on oversight of material handling and storage. The role also requires travel approximately 25% of the time, with the expectation of being away for up to one week per month to support operations at other locations or related activities.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
Enjoy 120 PTO hours and benefit from quarterly profit sharing. After a 90-day review, you may be eligible for up to a 3% raise, with an annual review offering up to a 5% raise.
