Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our electrical department. This role involves supporting MEP electrical designs for building projects and will primarily function in a production capacity. Due to the firm's size, there is flexibility to help you grow to your full potential. Experience with lighting design, power distribution, and electrical capacity calculations is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide project recommendations and work directly with clients.

Serve as Lead Project Engineer for work involving electrical systems.

Prepare and direct construction documentation, studies, and other critical reports.

Mentor and provide leadership to junior engineers on staff.

Essential Skills

5+ years of electrical MEP design experience.

Proficiency in electrical engineering design and calculations.

Experience with construction documents.

Knowledge of lighting design and power distribution.

Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.

Professional Engineering registration (PE) is highly preferred.

10+ years of electrical engineering work experience in building design.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of WASHINGTON, DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $48.00/hr.
