Job Description:** Powell Electrical Systems Inc., located in North Canton, OH, has multiple full-time Quality Inspector, Weekend Shift openings.

Position Summary:

A Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and specifications. They perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspections, tests and audits to identify any defects or deviations from quality requirements. Quality Inspectors use various tools and techniques to measure and evaluate the quality of materials, components and finished products. They document and report any non-conformities and work closely with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Additionally, they may participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.

Supervision:

Essential Responsibilities:

[Perform visual, mechanical and electrical inspections and testing of all equipment manufactured at Powell facilities according to Powell Standards.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Program and operate electronic equipment such as microprocessor-based relays.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Energize Powell electrical products and other buyout equipment such as service panels, HVAC, battery chargers, UPS system, etc.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Perform equipment failure investigations and root cause analysis.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Complete and maintain all test quality control documentation as required.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Perform maintenance on test equipment as needed.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Perform tests using equipment such as multimeter, clamp-on meter, voltage detector, Hi-Pot, etc.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Interaction with all departments (shop, engineering, sales, shipping, fabrication, PCR, switchgear) including customers to work to resolve quality-related issues.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Interaction with all departments during production, final inspection and final release to shipping is required.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
