SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for day to day credentialing activities of the medical and allied health staff, and support the Manager, Medical Staff Services with all activities related to the appointment and reappointment processes as well as manage the day to day maintenance of credentialing records (electronic and paper).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree plus 1 year job related experience required OR 3 years job related experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Intermediate computer skills required (word processing, data management, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, email).

Oral and written communications skills required.

Organizational and project management skills required.

Ability to analyze data and resolve conflicts required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent computer skills preferred (Word, Excel, Access, website management).

Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.

Credentialing experience preferred.
