Position: Corp Strategic Procur Spec II - AMZ26658.4

Location: Arlington, VA

Multiple Positions Available:

Identify new internal customers and sourcing opportunities utilizing analysis from multiple sources.

Review spend data, contract pipelines, and market trends for key spend categories.

Contribute to cross-functional team meetings to align Source-to-Pay priorities and requirements.

Contribute to ongoing customer and vendor management, including development of category and vendor management plans.

Partner with business, finance, and legal leaders to identify and implement Procure-to-Pay best practices including savings and controllership.

Work closely with engineers, scientists, technical stakeholders, and leadership to ensure products and services meet the needs of the business.

Conduct market research and prepare RFP documents for upcoming sourcing projects.

Manage the RFP process, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial deal terms and contracts, and create award recommendations.

Provide procurement analytics and insights to support data-driven decision making.

Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in strategic sourcing.

Track spend and consumption across key agreements.

Domestic or international travel up to 25% to perform role responsibilities may be required.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $113318 - $147900)

Basic Qualifications

A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field and one year(s) of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In the alternative, a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field followed by three year(s) of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Must have one year(s) of experience in the following:

Experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, business development, or data analysis.

Experience in procurement practices (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.), including highly technical or highly complex spend categories.

Experience in working in a startup environment to address immediate tactical purchasing needs while building for future-scale.

The pay range for this position in Arlington, VA is $113318 - $147900 (yr); however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
