Customer Service Representative

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of the Customer Support Department supporting the order fulfillment and customer satisfaction teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Archdale, NC

Pay Range: $22/hr

Shift: 1st shift, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Hybrid (Monday and Friday) once training is completed.

What's the Job?

Respond to customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints via phone, email, and other service channels

Provide accurate information regarding products, policies, procedures, order status, and inventory availability

Process customer orders, changes, and cancellations with attention to detail

Identify alternative or substitute products when requested items are unavailable

Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer order issues and ensure timely delivery

What's Needed?

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience in a business or call center environment

Ability to manage a high volume of inquiries across multiple channels

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word; Salesforce and SAP experience preferred

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
