Position Description & Qualifications
Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring that the DAF and DoD can effectively prepare for and execute their missions with the highest level of readiness and lethality.
Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.
To be successful in this role you will have:
A U.S. citizenship
An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) security clearance (Secret or higher may be required for some roles)
The possibility to telecommute (Part-time)
A Bachelor's degree (or additional years of relevant experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity, or program management fields in lieu of degree)
or High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years experience
8 years of experience
Prior experience supporting AFMS, or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired
The ability to travel 10%
Design, implement, and maintain our Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking components. Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions. Automate the deployment and configuration of applications and services using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or other tools. Monitor and maintain the availability, performance, and security of our Azure infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools. Work with the development team to improve the build and release processes. Stay up to date with the latest Azure features and best practices. Must have the ability to lead and train a teams.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
