Job Description
This role focuses on recruiting local businesses to join a new delivery partner program in Nebraska. You will visit prospective businesses in targeted towns, present the program, qualify interested partners, and guide them through the application process. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to drive recruitment through door-to-door outreach, community events, and local organizations. The position requires regular travel of up to a two-hour driving distance and offers uncapped commission based on partner conversions.
Responsibilities
Visit prospective businesses door to door in targeted towns within up to a two-hour driving distance to introduce the delivery partner program.
Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying.
Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process.
Lead follow-up activities and manage a pipeline of prospective partners using Salesforce.
Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Collaborate with the Field Manager to build relationships with local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and awareness.
Drive referrals through community organizations and local networks to expand the pool of potential partners.
Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and up-to-date records of prospects and partners.
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and new partners, answering questions and resolving issues during the application and onboarding process.
Solve problems for applicants in the field by troubleshooting issues and escalating concerns when necessary.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and urgency while representing the program in the local community.
Travel regularly within the assigned territory, including up to four hours of round-trip driving per day, to meet recruitment goals.
Essential Skills
1-2 years of experience in an outbound sales role, preferably door-to-door.
Experience working with a customer relationship management (CRM) system; Salesforce preferred.
1-2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline and track activities in a CRM.
Attention to detail and the ability to accurately manage and update data, including importing Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce.
Ability to solve problems for applicants in the field and handle issues independently.
Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology tools.
Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily within the assigned territory.
Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and a high sense of urgency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Field sales experience is a plus.
Prior experience in a role that involved sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus.
Enthusiasm for working with others and building partnerships in the local community.
Comfort presenting to groups and supporting events such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings.
Ability to collaborate effectively with a Field Manager and other contractors.
Interest in supporting a new delivery program and contributing to a high-quality last-mile delivery experience.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role covering areas such as Omaha, Columbus, Lincoln, and Grand Island, Nebraska. You will work in the field approximately four days per week, visiting local businesses and attending community events, with one day per week working from home to complete administrative tasks and manage your pipeline. The role involves regular driving, with travel up to a two-hour radius (up to four hours round trip) from your home base, and mileage reimbursement is provided. You will use technology tools such as Salesforce and Excel on a regular basis to track leads and manage data. The position offers an uncapped commission structure based on partner applications and successful launches, along with a monthly phone expense allowance. You will operate in a professional, community-facing environment, engaging directly with business owners, local influencers, and community organizations to build strong partnerships.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
