Salary Range: $24.02-$33.06; commensurate with qualifications and experience
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of human resources or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
An associate's degree may substitute for six (6) months of experience.
A bachelor's degree may substitute for one (1) year of experience.
A master's degree may substitute for one and one-half (1.5) years of experience.
Proficiency with technology, databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact courteously, respectfully, and professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy and focus on complex issues in an environment with frequent interruptions.
Mathematical skills sufficient to accurately calculate and verify pay, payroll-related transactions, and other related activities.
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and be authorized to review criminal history records information.
Preferred Qualification
A degree in Human Resources, or related field.
Knowledge of and experience applying federal and state employment laws and regulations (e.g. FLSA, FMLA, ACA, MN Paid Leave).
Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Experience working in a unionized or collective bargaining environment.
Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of discretion.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively to maintain confidentiality, conduct research, compile and audit data, and identify and resolve errors.
