Summary This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Responsibilities You will implement system patches, update, and configurations in accordance with cybersecurity directives. You will ensure all systems are accredited and compliant with security policies and system authorization processes. You will perform regular system health checks and maintains detailed records of activity and access. You will respond to IT service tickets, coordinates incident reporting with the Special Security Officer, and documents corrective actions in accordance with policy. You will ensure secure disposition or sanitization of IT components in accordance with DoD standards. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. Teamwork - Encourages and facilitates cooperation, pride, trust, and group identity; fosters commitment and team spirit; works with others to achieve goals. Technical Competence - Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues. GS12 In addition to your experience demonstrating the nine competencies above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience supporting account access requests and user onboarding for classified networks (e.g., SIPR), including validation of required documentation and coordination with approving authorities. Experience supporting secure IT operations in a DoD environment, including coordination with network/security stakeholders to enable classified system access or connectivity. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
