Basic Job Functions:

The role of the Traffic Administrator includes, but is not limited to, assisting with bills of lading, calling trucks to load, weighing trucks, running reports, and dispatching loads to carriers.This position will work closely with the finance, shipping, and sales teams. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Internal and external applicants will be considered concurrently.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of experience in a business environment .

Must have a high school diploma, GED or local/state equivalent.

Must be able to work M-F, rotating shift (days/evenings).

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Preferred Qualifications:

Office Administration, shipping, sales and/or customer service experience.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
