Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling and wiring electrical systems for custom automation equipment used in air filtration manufacturing. You will build and integrate control panels and production machinery from electrical schematics and blueprints, working hands-on in a manufacturing environment. This position is well suited for someone with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude who enjoys building custom systems and contributing directly to the performance of complex equipment.
Responsibilities
Assemble and wire electrical systems for custom automation equipment used in air filtration manufacturing lines.
Build and wire control panels and production equipment from electrical schematics and blueprints.
Perform electrical assembly and electronic assembly tasks using appropriate tools and techniques.
Execute panel building activities, including layout, mounting, wiring, and labeling of components.
Carry out field wiring for machinery and equipment, ensuring safe and accurate connections.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to complete builds accurately.
Use hand tools and measuring devices, such as micrometers and other precision tools, to assemble and align components.
Bend and install electrical conduit as required for equipment installations.
Work with 240 single-phase machines, including wiring, connection, and verification of proper operation.
Verify the quality and functionality of assembled systems and make adjustments or corrections as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools and equipment safely.
Collaborate with team members and follow established procedures to meet project deadlines within the defined project timeline.
Essential Skills
Hands-on experience in electrical assembly for machinery or automation equipment.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
Proficiency in panel building, including layout, wiring, and assembly of control panels.
Experience with field wiring of machines and production equipment.
Strong electrical aptitude and familiarity with industrial electrical components.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with mechanical aspects of custom equipment.
Ability to bend conduit and install it safely and accurately.
Experience working with 240 single-phase machines.
Proficiency using basic hand tools and measuring devices, including micrometers, wire strippers, crimpers, and needle-nose pliers.
Ability to work from instructions and complete tasks accurately within project timelines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Own set of basic electrical tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, and needle-nose pliers.
Comfort working on short-term projects with the potential for extended opportunities depending on performance and business needs.

Work Environment
This role is based in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility focused on air filtration and custom automation equipment. The standard schedule is a first-shift role, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with openness to a five-day, eight-hour workweek depending on operational needs. The position is structured as a four-week project, with the possibility of longer-term opportunities depending on the candidate and business requirements. You will work with electrical and mechanical tools, including micrometers, hand tools, and basic electrical tools you provide yourself, such as wire strippers, crimpers, and needle-nose pliers. The environment emphasizes safety, organization, and professionalism while supporting hands-on, detail-oriented electrical and mechanical work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hr.
