Direct Placement Title: Calibration Technician Schedule: (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) Location: Puerto Rico (Reporting office in Bayamo´n; field travel required)

Position Description As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing calibrations on various measuring instruments in both field and laboratory environments, spanning across all calibration disciplines handled by the client. In this role, you will report directly to the Calibration Manager. Responsibilities

Execution: Perform precise calibrations of measuring instruments in the field and laboratory.

Versatility: Execute calibrations across multiple client service disciplines, including pressure, temperature, flow, dimensional, electrical, and others.

Documentation: Accurate document and log calibration results according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Quality Control: Identify Out-of-Tolerance (OOT) equipment and formally generate non-conformance reports.

Asset Management: Maintain, verify, and perform periodic checks on reference standards and laboratory equipment.

Logistics: Coordinate the safe and secure transportation of equipment and instruments between job sites.

Reporting: Complete and submit accurate field service reports in a timely manner.

Compliance: Support internal and external audits related to calibration and quality processes.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven hands-on experience in measuring instrument calibration (Required).

Technical Breadth: Strong knowledge of both field and lab calibrations across multiple technical disciplines.

Credentials: Relevant license or certification from the Puerto Rico Department of State is highly valued.

Standards: Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 standards is a strong plus, though not mandatory.

Mobility: Must have a reliable personal vehicle available for travel to various client sites (Car Allowance provided).

Flexibility: Availability to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.

Travel: Willingness and availability to travel when necessary.

Languages: Fully bilingual (English and Spanish).

Education :

Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Engineering, Sciences, or a closely related field.
