Sales Counselor The Sales Counselor is responsible for driving occupancy
and revenue across 2Life Communities\' direct rental portfolio by
building relationships with prospective residents and guiding them
through a consultative, trust-based leasing process. This position
primarily supports leasing at Shillman House in Framingham, while also
assisting with leasing efforts at Golda Meir House (Newton) and Brown
Family House (Brookline) as needed. During periods of lower leasing
activity, the role may support resident engagement, administrative
coordination, and other community initiatives at Shillman House.
Essential Responsibilities Sales & Leasing Drive occupancy and revenue
growth across 2Life\'s direct rental communities, with primary focus on
Shillman House. Conduct apartment tours and present the benefits of
2Life communities to prospective residents and families. Guide prospects
through a relationship-based sales process and maintain consistent
follow-up. Respond promptly to inquiries from walk-ins, phone calls,
website leads, and events. Communicate pricing, availability, and
community benefits effectively. Support marketing and outreach events,
including open houses, resource fairs, and community gatherings.
Maintain flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Relationship & Pipeline Management Develop and maintain a strong
pipeline of prospective residents. Build relationships with waitlist
members, referral sources, residents, and community partners. Generate
referrals through resident engagement and community outreach. Establish
connections with senior centers, faith communities, alumni groups, and
other local organizations. Collaboration & Operations Partner with the
Property Marketing Director and marketing teams on outreach, lead
generation, and sales strategies. Maintain accurate prospect records and
sales activity within Salesforce CRM. Coordinate with site staff to
ensure a smooth move-in experience. Represent 2Life at community events,
presentations, and outreach opportunities. Cross-market all 2Life
housing options and provide occasional support to other communities and
Opus Communities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in sales, leasing, senior living,
or a related customer-facing role. Proven consultative sales skills and
ability to guide individuals through complex decision-making processes.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building
abilities. Experience managing a sales pipeline and consistently
following up with prospects. Proficiency with CRM systems; Salesforce
experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail,
and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work
independently, exercise sound judgment, and adapt to changing needs.
Commitment to 2Life\'s mission and values. Experience in senior housing,
healthcare, hospitality, or mission-driven organizations preferred.
Experience working with older adults and their families preferred.
Supervisory Responsibility This position does not have supervisory
responsibilities. Work Environment This is an in-person position based
at Shillman House in Framingham, with regular travel to other 2Life
communities and outreach events. The role requires frequent walking,
standing, conducting tours, and occasional evening or weekend work.
