Our Client, a Banking and Financial Services company, is looking for an Events Manager- 5 for their New York, NY/Hybrid location. Responsibilities:

Corporate level event experience is required, someone with pharma would be successful in this role as well.

An example of an upcoming event is the US Open.

Other events include client engagements and large internal engagements like the Leadership Club.

They will need experience booking flights, hotels, etc. for multi-day events.

Support the planning and execution of IWPB client, COI, sponsorship, and internal events across the U.S.

Manage event logistics, including registration, vendor coordination, attendee communication, and on-site execution.

Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver a seamless event experience while ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and compliance requirements.

The team evaluated available internal resources and redistributed event responsibilities were possible.

Due to existing workload and commitments across the Events, Marketing, and Business teams, no internal resource has the capacity or specialized event experience required to support the increase volume of IWPB events.

Temporary contingent support is therefore needed to ensure successful event delivery without disrupting existing business priorities or compromising the client experience.

Requirements:

The IWPB Events team is experiencing a significant increase in event volume, including client events, sponsorship activations, wealth center openings, thought leadership programs, and internal initiatives.

Additional temporary support is required to manage event logistics, vendor coordination, registration, onsite execution, and post-event activities.

This resource will provide dedicated execution support, ensuring the successful delivery of events while maintaining a high-quality client experience, adherence to compliance requirements, and operational excellence.

Without this support, the current team does not have sufficient capacity to effectively manage the increased workload and event calendar.
