Summary You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (POLICY AND PLANNING) in the NETWORKS, SERVICES, AND STRATEGY BRANCH of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will represent the IC4 Division and USMC on various working groups and panels. You will draft and staff policy directives to appropriate Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and affected functional components throughout HQMC and the field. You will serve as a Marine Corps SME for interpretation and application of Marine Corps and higher echelon policy and directives relevant to enterprise services. You will participate in IT working groups to represent the Marine Corps user community in defining enterprise-level IT acquisition and implementation strategies. You will participate in status reviews to evaluate consistency of execution with enterprise-level IT strategies and plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Advising and applying skills in advanced information technology (IT) principles, strategic policy development, project management, and the management of IT governance actions; AND Serving as a technical authority and guide enterprise-level IT strategy and implementation.
