Overview
Our client is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join their growing Information Technology team. Reporting directly to the IT Manager, this role is responsible for providing hands-on technical support to employees while maintaining systems, devices, and network connectivity across the organization.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting end users, and gaining experience in an enterprise environment. There is strong potential for long-term growth as the IT team expands.
Required / Desired Qualifications
Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and commitment to quality support
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
Set up and support workstations, monitors, printers, and scanners
Provide technical support via in-person, phone, and remote tools
Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, email, and network connectivity
Support end users with Microsoft Office and other business applications
Create and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
Assist with antivirus, endpoint protection, and software updates
Connect users to network resources and provide basic system training
Document support tickets, resolutions, and procedures
Collaborate with the IT Manager and external vendors on IT projects
Assist with purchasing and inventory of IT equipment
Escalate complex issues when necessary
Support IT initiatives across multiple locations
Perform additional duties as assigned

On-site role in a manufacturing facility
Regular interaction with employees on the production floor
Combination of desk work and hands-on support
Occasional travel to other company locations (vehicle and travel accommodations provided)
Steel toe boots and necessary equipment provided when needed

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
