Job Title: Forklift Operator - 1st Shift (East Moline)

Job Description

This 1st shift Forklift Operator role supports the shipping and receiving department by performing a variety of material handling tasks, including operating forklifts to move, stock, and organize inventory within a warehouse environment in East Moline, IL. The position focuses on safe and efficient movement of materials, accurate inventory handling, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.

Replenish pick locations from overstock locations to ensure order pickers have sufficient inventory available.

Stock inbound inventory accurately in designated bin and storage locations.

Assist order pullers with picking and staging large or complex orders as needed.

Perform bin location re-stocking and stock put-away activities to maintain organized inventory storage.

Support warehouse re-organization efforts when necessary to improve space utilization and workflow.

Essential Skills

Previous warehouse and receiving experience.

Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in an industrial setting.

Ability to safely operate forklifts for loading, unloading, and material movement.

Experience with inventory handling, picking, and production support activities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Moline, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
