What's a typical day as Operations Administrative Assistant? You'll be:
Greeting and assisting visitors and customers both in person and via phone
Organizing, collating, scanning, and archiving daily business records
Processing delivery tickets and preparing paperwork for appropriate departments
Assisting the Branch Operations Manager, Supervisors, and Logistics Specialists with administrative and clerical tasks
Providing support for daily reviews of open orders, delivery reports, and inventory management
Updating customer notes, managing short fills, and rerouting missed deliveries as needed
Assisting with physical inventory and cycle counting by researching discrepancies
Maintaining office functions such as mail distribution and postage supplies
Ensuring all work is completed with minimal supervision and in accordance with company standards
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have an Associate's degree (AA) and two to four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Are fluent in written and spoken English (Spanish is a plus and may be required in some locations)
Possess highly advanced PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience with ERP systems
Demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Can communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues, management, and customers
Have the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment
Are able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally
