As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Clearance Required in Troy, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour

Day Time

Mon06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to control entry to sensitive aerospace and defense-related areas in accordance with site protocols.

Support incident reporting, maintain accurate activity logs, and follow post orders for handling classified, controlled, and/or high-value environments.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
