As a Security Officer Patrol in Troy, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of communication.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to identify and report suspicious activity, access control issues, and/or facility concerns.

Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or badges as required by site policies, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in a clear and timely manner.

Support access control and visitor management practices while interacting professionally with personnel and guests in areas that may involve specialized operations, restricted zones, and/or changing work conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR certification is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
